Saltwater Nomads has been shaping the future of remote work and meaningful tourism since in this region before it went mainstream. Based in Croatia and working across the Balkans, we bring years of hands-on experience to communities, institutions and EU-funded initiatives seeking smart, sustainable growth.
We launched the world’s first Digital Nomads-in-Residence program in Dubrovnik and have since delivered 100+ events across the region. From mountain summits to sea kayaks, exploring themes from Antarctica to AI, wine to well-being (same thing), our love is the off-season, rural and anywhere which gives you “I was there when” bragging rights.
As innovation award winners, we’ve helped position rural and remote destinations as year-round hubs for remote workers, returnees and slow travelers. Our coworking and event programs have welcomed hundreds of digital nomads, creatives and change-makers. Our strategic advisory continues to support public and private partners across Europe.
