Croatia’s digital nomad permit has placed Croatia firmly on the map for many seasoned and new remote workers. It enables millions, who have previously been limited by long office commutes and only 2 weeks vacation, to now base in a new place – and explore new career and lifestyle opportunities. Croatia is one of the easiest places in the European Union to embark on a new remote working and digital nomad lifestyle.

Join us for Zagreb Digital Nomad Week: 21 to 27 June 2021, in person and online for a series of 7 themes over 7 days, covering: cyber security, online presence, remote careers, tax & finance, future of work, wellbeing and exploring Zagreb.

Our speakers include the initiator of the digital nomad permit, Jan de Jong, tax, finance, technology and cyber security experts, lifestyle and wellbeing practitioners and international future of work thought leaders.
7 DAYS | 7 THEMES
The weekday sessions from Monday to Thursday cross from cafes, coworking spaces to bars and restaurants, allowing you to stick to your “9 to 5” schedule, all while joining for the morning, midday and evening program. Themes:
- MONDAY 21 JUNE: CYBER SECURITY – from basics to advanced
- TUESDAY 22 JUNE: ONLINE PRESENCE
- WEDNESDAY 23 JUNE: REMOTE CAREERS
- THURSDAY 24 JUNE: TAX & FINANCE
The #TGIF and weekend vibe is a little different:
- FRIDAY 25 JUNE: FUTURE OF WORK
If you can only make it to one day, Friday’s the day. This is where we’ll have our keynote speakers, along with fully interactive sessions from the themes covered Monday to Thursday. Zagreb Digital Nomad Ambassador Project
July to December 2021
The Zagreb Digital Nomad (ZND) Ambassador Project is a first for the city. The Tourist Board are inviting, as their special guests, a digital nomad to take up a 1 month FREE stay in Zagreb, and share their experiences as a digital nomad.
Who can apply?
Anyone over 18 who can remote workly and share their experience as a digital nomad in Zagreb.
Prize
Six winners (including couples and families who apply) will have 1 month free accommodation at a prescribed location, and be named a Zagreb Digital Nomad Ambassador for the duration of the program.
Zagreb Digital Nomad Ambassadors are special guests of the Tourist Board of Zagreb. Ambassadors will participate in a program including free coworking, local engagement and promotion of their experience as a digital nomad in Zagreb.
Winners are expected to arrive on the 1st day of the month they are selected as an Ambassador, with accommodation available from the 1st of the month to the 1st of the next month. Winners must be able to participate fully in the program and must remain in Zagreb the entire month.
